ProSpeed®: Optical length & speed sensors with enhanced connectivity
No contact, no slippage, no wear: These optical encoders measure reliably even on red-hot metals up to over 1.000°C, enabling reliable length verification and position tracking, speed synchronization and superior cut-to-length control and much more in rolling mills, casters or the packaging, cable and converting industry. With their enhanced connectivity concept, ProSpeed® laser gauges control parameters and processes with ease, provide valid information and measurement data for process optimization. The multi-user access allows up to 4 users simultaneously, and the sensors feature Ethernet/IP or Profinet protocols upon request, or classic analog or digital signals for PLC.
